If you were hoping to visit with us at the SfN Annual Meeting this year, we’re very sorry to say that we have decided not to exhibit this year. We love the SfN Annual Meeting, it has been the most important event of our year for a decade, when we get to meet new researchers and discuss brilliant new ideas for behavioral tests. However, it also consumes a lion’s share of our time and resources for reaching out to potential users. This year has been marked by uncertainty and, in our country at least, a newfound hostility towards science and international scientific cooperation. As SfN has approached, and after talking with existing contacts about their own decisions not to attend, we became pessimistic about attendance from the broader global research community that SfN is typically so great for helping us to reach. So, very reluctantly, we’ve decided to skip SfN this year, and will be brainstorming how best to engage with researchers in 2026.
Of course we hope our assessment is wrong! And we hope that you, if you are attending, find it to be the same enjoyable and stimulating conference that it is every year. As usual, there will be posters that include data from Vulintus systems, and we hope that you will go see them. As usual, we have tried to compile a list, which you can find here. Please let us know if there are any posters missing from our search!
If you find inspiration at SfN for a new behavioral system you want to build, we’d still love to talk to you about it, even if we’re not there to talk in person! We’re always building, and always excited for new challenges.
